1. Explain how you showed the meaning of each word.
-On the first illustration, I initially did the word reflection. I wanted to do the same idea but use a different word. When you look in the mirror, the reflection is what stares back. For the word "drip", it was the first word that came to mind when we were assigned this project. For me the letter "r" is meant to represent a running or dripping faucet, and out comes the word "drip".
2. What was the most challenging part of creating your word illustrations?
-The most challenging part of this project was the execusion part of the whole thing. I'm a perfectionist so it took me a while to make sure everything was good enough. I questioned my illustrations a lot throughout this process.
3. Did you participate in a critique? Was this helpful for you? Why?
-Yes, I did participate in the critique and I thought it was able to help me seeing others work and my work being critiqued as well. I was able to learn through my peers and the mistakes and victoires they made. After the critique, I was able to take the comments given and put it to work on my word illustrations.
